FROM OUTWARD FLIGHT TO HYDRO FLIGHT
Regretting we only booked one month in Hawaii, we called the airline to postpone our flight for a day, as we got the opportunity to go hydro flying with Scotty Knemeyer; a world top 15 hydro flyer!
Departing from Kāne‘ohe Bay at 8 a.m., we took a speedboat to the sand bar with a gorgeous backdrop of the evil looking mountains of Oahu.
MASTERCLASSES
Scotty taught us how to fly. Super surreal to be flying six meters up in the air on water pressure and to swim and jump like a dolphin. Magic.
THRILLING TANDEM-FLIGHT
A day full of flying, fun and stand up paddling with his group of friends ended with an even more thrilling tandem-flight with the pro himself! Unbelievable! What a superman – not only literally, but also figuratively, as he’s a great and humble guy!
SANTA IN THE AIR
At the end of the day, Scotty did his favourite quote Go Big Or Go Home justice by treating us on a spectacular show of his abilities!
This top-outing and Hawaii itself makes us want to come back for sure!
