A TRUE NATURAL AQUARIUM – NOT TO BE MISSED

As the name says, it really is a natural aquarium. It is a magic place, not to miss out on. You will calmly float downstream the amazingly clear river packed with vibrant plants and four kinds of large fish and over 30 species of small fish, including the deep-red Mato Grosso fish; forming a striking contrast with the green plants. It is a wonderful and long snorkel trip of some 3km, accompanied by a guide by boat which will take care of you when needed.

MUCH TERRESTRIAL WILDLIFE

Besides snorkelling in the river, you will get to enjoy the animal trail where you have the chance of seeing emas, alligators, deers of the Pantanal, maned wolves, cutias, parrots and more. For us it was the first time seeing wild peccaries (also called javelina or skunk pig).

GREAT POOL & RELAXING AREA

The facilities at Aquário Natural are great. Before you start the actual snorkelling, you get the change to practice in the beautiful swimming pool. After the tour, you can stay at this pool with relaxing area the rest of the day. There is also a nice restaurant, craft shop and natural history museum. This site is highly popular (for a reason), so remember to book ahead.
